Barb Clapp Advertising & Marketing opened its doors in 2001, and on its 10th anniversary, has changed its name to Clapp Communications. It recently opened a second location in the Charlotte, North Carolina market, led by Director Beth Sykes, where many of its clients do business.

The Lutherville agency has grown to serve more than 35 active accounts located throughout the country. The agency has also recently secured numerous state, regional and national clients including the International Dyslexia Association, Volunteers of America, LifeSpan Network, the Veterans Affairs Maryland Medical Center, University of Baltimore, Johns Hopkins University, Parkway Consulting, the Fraternal Order of Police, the International Association of Firefighters, the Maryland Lottery, and others. The agency develops marketing programs, secures media, plans events, creates ads and a social media strategy on behalf of these clients.

Clapp Communications received the Best in Show Award from the American Advertising Association of Baltimore this year and was honored on the national level at the PR News Platinum PR Awards.
