Editors Note: Bmore Media is launching a new feature called Step OUT, which will highlight events happening in Greater Baltimore. We'll focus on conferences, art exhibits, nonprofit fundraisers, performances and other interesting things on our radar. Have a suggestion for this section? Send an e-mail to Managing Editor Julekha Dash at [email protected].

Will George Clooney win a best actor Oscar for his performance in "the Descendants?" Will Woody Allen's love letter to literary luminaries in the City of Lights,"Midnight in Paris," win Best Picture? Will the American version of "the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" starring the girl who hails from football royalty win over the Academy?

You can find out the answers while benefiting the homeless at the AIDS Interfaith Residential Services (AIRS) Oscar Night Gala. The event takes place at Harbor East's Pazo and costs $125 per person. Money raised will support City Steps, AIRS housing program for homeless youth.

Tickets include an open bar, live auction and, of course, a live viewing of the 84th Annual Academy Awards on the big screen.
