Step OUT: To Support Arts and Entertainment Districts

Running in conjunction with the
National Main Streets Conference in Baltimore, this two-day event brings together policy makers, artists and academicians to discuss the impact of designating specific arts and entertainment districts. The
symposium discusses best practices for using the arts districts to revitalize neighborhoods.
The
agenda includes speakers from Louisiana, Indiana, North Carolina and Massachusetts who will discuss incentives and policies that have succeeded in fostering arts districts. It also includes a tour of the
Station North Arts and Entertainment District and a trip to the
Creative Alliance.
Registration is $50 in advance and $60 at the door.
