Crafts, music, film, storytelling and circus performers are all part of this 16-day festival in Howard County.
The
Columbia Festival of the Arts takes place June 15-30. Festival highlights include LakeFest Celebration, June 15-17, featuring acrobats from Montreal, a marching band and an arts-and-crafts show.
Nine ticketed events are part of the festival. Stoop Storytelling - the popular man-on-the-street storytelling series founded by Laura Wexler and Jessica Henkin - makes its way to the 'burbs June 19.
The Jim Rouse Theatre for the Performing Arts hosts Rosanne Cash June 22 and jugglers the Flying Karamazov Brothers June 23.
Free literary readings and gallery exhibits are also part of the lineup.
