Join hundreds of fellow foodies for the
3rd Annual Farm to Chef Culinary Competition, hosted by the
Baltimore chapter of the American Institute of Wine & Food (AIWF). The event takes place Sept. 24 at the
American Visionary Art Museum.
More than 30 Baltimore chefs will partner with local farms to create unique recipes for more than 300 foodies.
B&O American Brasserie,
the Manor Tavern and
Havana Road Cuban Cafe are among the participating restaurants. Farms include
One Straw Farm,
Gunpowder Bison and
Richardson Farms.
The evening will also feature libations from the Baltimore Bartenders Guild, live music and auction items, including culinary classes, wine dinners and a personal chef’s dinner at your home.
Tickets cost $90 and benefit Days of Taste, an AIWF program that teaches elementary school children how their food travels from farm to table. Participating farmers and chefs teach children the benefits of cooking with fresh, local ingredients.
