What: Spring 2013 Maryland Home & Garden Show
When: March 2-3; March 8-10
Cost: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and free for children under 6 years old. Entrance to the Maryland Spring Craft Show only is $6. Tickets to the Garden Preview Party is $50 in advance and $60 at the door.
Where: Maryland State Fairgrounds, Timonium
Check out the
Spring 2013 Maryland Home & Garden Show, which will feature more than 300 home improvement exhibitors. The show will also feature expert advice at seminars and shows and live blooms at the plant marketplace.
The show will feature "Film in Flowers." Local landscapers will create 16 gardents that depict classic movies “The Great Gatsby,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and “Caddy Shack.” Brian Santos
, known as the
Wall Wizard, will offer advice on working with wallpaper, paint and faux finishes.
Interior design professionals from the American Society of Interior Designers will also offer free home decorating consultations.
The Maryland Spring Craft Show, part of the home show, will feature more than 125 artists selling handmade creations.
Kicking off the show is the Garden Preview Party, March 1, which benefits Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake. Guests will get a sneak peak of the show and light food, beer and wine.
