BmoreMedia is taking a break for Labor Day and our next email newsletter goes out Sept. 18.
We'll be making that last trip to beach, visiting family and getting caught up on our favorite TV shows before they return for the fall season. Managing Editor
Julekha Dash will head to Bangor, Maine and the Delaware beaches, where she'll hopefuly get to swim in the Lewes bay one last time this year. Managing Photographer
Steve Ruark is heading to to Bethany, Del., with his wife Mandy and three-year-old daughter Stella. They'll make sand castles, swim, eat crabs and plan Steve's fantasy football draft strategy.
Alexandra Wilding will spend her vacation catching up with friends, digging into a big novel, and eating seafood at tiki bars up and down the Eastern Shore. Bmore Intern and writer
Jolene Carr will be relishing the last days of summer at the Sandy Point State Park beach and the Maryland State Fair, and checking out DeBois Textiles Inc. for things to personalize her new apartment. Innovation and Jobs News Editor Barbara Pash is going fishing for trout in the Pennsylvania streams. She rarely catches anything and when she does, it's catch-and-release.
But keep checking out our site as we'll post a few stories in the interim. Be sure to follow us on
Twitter and like us on
Facebook.
If you want to pitch a story or write a story, send an email to
[email protected]. We're looking for good feature writers who know Baltimore and can write authoritative stories on talent, innovation, diversity and the environment. We also welcome resumes and clips from highly motivated interns who can post stories on Facebook and Twitter, write features and copy for our events and "buzz" sections.
