Have you heard about NewsTrust Baltimore? If you're at all concerned about the hows and whys behind media and journalism in Baltimore, NewsTrust is a name you need to know.

Launched earlier this year, NewsTrust's goal, according to their site, is to help Baltimore residents "become better informed and more engaged about local issues" and "tell apart good journalism from misinformation, so they can become more discerning news consumers. Using NewsTrust's online review tools, they will learn to rate stories for accuracy, fairness, context and other journalistic qualities."
