Here's a way to get your kids excited about math. Feed them some pie from Baltimore's Dangerously Delicious Pies while visiting the Maryland Science Center on Pi Day.
There's a Pi recitation contest along with a pie-eating contest. Kids can also create necklaces at this circle celebration. Pi is the the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.
The celebration takes place March 14, which would have been Albert Einstein's 134th birthday. Incidentally March 14 is 3.14, or an approximation of Pi.
