More than 30 chefs will compete in the 4th annual Farm to Chef culinary competition, hosted by the Baltimore chapter of the American Institute of Wine & Food (AIWF). They include Jesse Sandlin of Oliver Speck's, Dustin Heflin of Baldwin's Station & Pub, Chris Amendola of Fleet Street Kitchen and Birroteca's Melanie Molinaro. The event will feature produce from Cherry Glen Farm, Cunningham Farms, One Straw Farm, Prosperity Acres and others.

The event takes place Sept. 30 at the American Visionary Art Museum and features cocktails, a raffle and a swag bag filled with culinary goodies.

Proceeds benefit Days of Taste, an AIWF program that teaches elementary school children how their food travels from farm to table. Participating farmers and chefs teach children the benefits of cooking with fresh, local ingredients.
