Waterfront Kitchen's dinner and a cruise series led by Chef Jerry Pellegrino returns this summer. The evening starts with cocktails and appetizers on the pier next to the Fells Point restaurant. Guests get a 90-minute tour along the Patapsco River on either the pungy schooner Lady Maryland or the skipjack Sigsbee.
Next is a four-course wine dinner with different themes. A few coming up include:
• Great Pink Wines for Summer, July 23
• Wines of Livermore Valley, California, Aug. 6
• Wines of Argentina, Aug. 7
• Wines of Italy's Piedmont, Aug. 8
The food is based on Waterfront Kitchen's seed-to-table concept. The restaurant serves vegetables grown in its recently opened greenhouse, located on the site of nonprofit
Living Classrooms.
Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours in advance. The event is cancelled if boating conditions are unsafe. Check out the complete dinner-and-cruise schedule
