Baltimore Country Club, but you will think you are at the Inner Harbor.
The theme for this year's annual
Uncorked fundraiser hosted by the
Baltimore chapter of the National Associaton of Catering Executives is "Baltimore Rocks." The Baltimore Country Club will be made to look like the Inner Harbor Amphitheater and the Harborplace pavilions.
A cocktail party will take guests through 11 Baltimore neighborhoods, including Little Italy, Hampden, Mt. Washington and Greektown. Teams of chefs, event planners and designers will present food and entertainment from each neighborhood and compete for awards in a design competition.
The after-party will feature a Burlesque dance performance, desserts from Charm City Cakes and karaoke.
More than 300 guests are expected to attend the fundraiser. Organizers hope to raise $50,000 to benefit
Moveable Feast, scholarships and educational programs.
