It's been said that the way to judge a society is by its treatment of its less fortunate citizens. Baltimore is fortunate to have several major and many community-based organizations such as The Abell Foundation and Baltimore Community Foundation, whose mission is to help its citizens improve their lives and by doing so enrich and uplift the city as a whole.
