Richard Silberstein was a veteran of the Baltimore insurance industry and had operated independently under the umbrella of another insurance firm for a number of years when he decided to branch out on his own as the Silberstein Insurance Group.

Since founding the insurance brokerage and employee benefits firm in 1984, Richard has applied the principles instilled in him by his grandfather to take care of Baltimore and his employees.

Today, Silberstein Insurance Group employs 36 and counts large private and public companies, hospitals and health systems among its clients. It serves more than 500 corporate clients and hundreds of individual clients nationwide.

It is a member of the Benefit Advisor Network, an exclusive consortium of benefit brokers. Participation in the network allows Silberstein to negotiate competitive prices.
