Juliana Childress and Laura Rosen opened their Timonium business
Spa SEVEN in March, offering manicures, pedicures, massages and skincare treatments.
The 2,250-square-foot shop houses three treatment rooms, a nail suite and a fitness studio that offers zumba, pilates, yoga, strength conditioning and dance classes. Wanting to make the business look “glam,” the business partners outfitted each room with chandeliers and stylish furniture. They would ultimately like to expand the concept to other areas of the East Coast.
Childress and Rosen initially started the business by offering spa services within the practice of plastic surgeon
Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez.
The owners launched the business with a red-carpet event whose guests included Baltimore Raven' Ray Lewis, Suzi Cordish, and Molly and Mayo Shattuck. This year, the spa partnered with Julie Macklowe's New York anti-aging skincare line vbeauté.
The 20-person company is currently hiring a manicurist, massage therapist and a fitness instructor.
