Jeff Bowers founded
Rolling Ads of Maryland in 2006 as a billboard advertising company on wheels.
The Howard County company uses illuminated scrolling displays that promote a brand on three sides of a truck. The company has worked with small, midsize, and large companies as well as nonprofits. It has worked on political campaigns, grand openings, concerts, sports and other events. The ads on its trucks rotate every eight seconds and during a typical day each ad gets displayed at least 300 times.
The Ellicott City firm has worked with the
Kennedy Krieger Institute, State Farm Insurance,
Bon Secours Health System,
The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults and others.
Bowers is currently looking for a partner to join him in the business.
